SELECTION SOFTWARE OF RECTANGULAR SILENCER
Required data:
- Sound power at the appropriate frequency in front of the silencer, eg:
63, Hz [dB] |
125, Hz [dB] |
250, Hz [dB] |
500, Hz [dB] |
1000, Hz [dB] |
2000, Hz [dB] |
4000, Hz [dB] |
8000, Hz [dB] |

- Maximum sound power in front of the silencer, e.g. 45 dB(A)
- Air volume, e.g. 2400 m3/h
- Desired silencer dimensions, B = 800 mm, H = 400 mm, L = 1500
- Maximum acceptable pressure loss Pa, e.g. 60 Pa
Entering data:
- Enter the sound power in front of the silencer in each frequency band. The weighted sound is calculated automatically, for example: 63dB: 64, 125dB: 74, 250dB: 84, 500dB: 85, 1000dB: 81, 2000dB: 77, 4000dB: 72, 8000dB: 68
- Enter the desired sound power after the silencer, e.g.: 45dB (A).
- Enter the air volume m3/h, for example: 2400 m3/h or 0.67 m3/s or 667 l/s.
- Enter the desired silencer dimensions in millimeters, width B (e.g. 800 mm) and height H (e.g. 400 mm).
- Enter the maximum possible length of the silencer in millimeters, e.g. 1500 mm. The program will provide all possible options up to 1500mm in length. If a check mark is placed, then only the specified dimension will be selected.
- Enter the maximum acceptable pressure loss Pa, for example: 60 Pa. The program will provide all options that will not exceed this limit.
- After expanding the menu, enter the project data, which will be displayed in the report
- Click the "Calculate" button and select the most appropriate silencer from the list.
- Clicking on the link of the selected silencer opens a table where you can check the obtained numbers, and clicking on "Send PDF" generates a report on the technical characteristics of a specific silencer. All you have to do is print it out or save it on your computer.
